My rating is merely on my experience this evening. I found a gold membership card in the parking lot. I enter Costco to turn in the membership card to one of the staff members at the return desk. Before I did I was approached by a staff member named Carmen at the entrance. She approaches me rudely and says I have to put a green sticker on your merchandise. I tell her what are you talking about I have nothing in my hands. I'm trying to return this card I found. She just mumbles something which I paid no attention to. When I went to go start my shopping I passed by her and tell her that she should be more professional when approaching customers and know how to speak to them. Instead of apologizing she tells well why don't you do my job for me then. With her smart remark she got my response which at that point was not nice one. I did snap at her. You do not treat customers with disrespect. If you do not like your job you definitely need to to start looking for one. This Carmen lady has no idea of what good customer service is. This type of employee is not an asset to Costco at all.
Generally a good place to shop. Even the longest lines move pretty quickly. There are some shoppers here that lack common courtesy and common sense, but you just have to deal with it.
This place is packed more or less always - have been told this Costco leads in terms of sales per square foot of all Costco locations! They're fast, courteous at the checkout.
Can get crowded but the deals with coupons on top make a trip here worth it. The options are great for a warehouse and it stays up to date with all the new trends and technology. Cannot beat the deals you will find here hands down on everything. There is a membership, but with one good trip to the warehouse or two small hauls and the membership has more than paid for itself. A good tip if you want to avoid crowds and run in and out quickly shop on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening to night. Plus Costco offers the best return policy in the area on everything sold including a 6 month time frame on electronics and computers. Once you shop at Costco once, you are hooked, and if you take advantage of all the extras offered you will save more money than you know.
I love Costco. It is full of things I can live without but if I go in with blinders on, I'm OK. Primarily shop for food. Buy meats and other freezable stuff because the amount you have to buy is very large. I also like their rotisserie chickens at 4.99$. They freeze great. Taste wonderful, and at that price I couldn't buy and cook a chicken so cheap. They are loosing money on these to get you in to the store. My objective is to get out for less than 300$.
I wish they carry items in small packs as well for those who don't need bulk purchase. Also, it would be nice to have a separate dedicated line for people with limited number of items, say, less than 10.
