I've been bringing my dog to Dog's Day Farm for daycare for about 3 months now. We absolutely love it! He is always so excited to get through the gate and start playing with his buddies. The staff is extremely friendly and responsive too. We boarded him there for a night (his very first time sleeping anywhere except our house) and I received multiple updates and photos throughout his stay. I can't thank the staff enough for going that extra mile. It certainly puts your mind at ease when you're out of town and you know your dog is safe, sound and happy! The flexibility of their hours and online scheduling has been super helpful with our work schedules. I can't say enough good things about Dog's Day! I feel so lucky to have such a great place nearby :).
There are so many things I love about Dogs Day... but this review is getting lengthy. In the end, I 100% recommend you check them out and set up a meet and greet!!
The owners and staff are all very friendly and attentive to the dogs. One thing I love is how they handle dropping off and picking up your dog. I have never heard the dogs barking when I drive up to Dogs day. Someone comes out to greet you and take your dog and then they walk your dog out to you when you come to pick them up!
We have been bringing our dogs Xena and Piper to Dog's Day farm for several years, and we never stop reminding ourselves how lucky we are to have found such a wonderful place to leave them when we are on travel. The dogs are competently and lovingly cared for by the Dog's Day staff, and they always get a lot of exercise. When Xena and Piper see us putting their food in a plastic bag before a trip to the farm, they know what's happening and they immediate begin spinning, howling, and barking for joy. And when we pick them up after a stay at the farm, they always appear happy and healthy -- albeit completely fatigued from all the social stimulation and running around. Dog's Day Farm is truly a gift -- a gift of peace of mind for owners who need to leave their dogs somewhere while on travel, and a gift to the dogs who always love this home away from home.
We let the owners know that we arrived and Matt came out to meet us. He walked us back through the gates into a big back yard. All of the dogs had been put into other areas so that Jackson wouldn't be bombarded with new dogs. After awhile of letting Jackson get comfortable with the new yard he had one dog at a time be brought out to meet Jackson. He watched the interactions between the dogs carefully to make sure that Jackson was adjusting well to the new environment and dogs. I love that they take the time to make sure that your dog is a good fit for their facility.
This place is the absolute best! I don't trust anyone else with the most spoiled member of my household. Dog's day is incredibly accommodating and always super friendy. Everyone there exudes confidence with dogs and genuinely seems to enjoy working there. Matt (the owner) is amazing and takes great care to ensure your dog has a good time. I cannot recommend Dog's day enough! Edit: I forgot to mention that the dogs are pretty free on nice days to spend time in or outdoors and my puppy couldn't be happier to run all around the 25 acres they have.
When it was time to find a facility to board our 1 year old Yorkshire terrier, Jackson, I was scrambling to find a place where I would feel comfortable leaving him for a week.
From the very start of communicating with the owners of Dog's Day, I knew that this was where I wanted Jackson to stay. The time and effort that goes into visiting the farm for the first time is a huge plus.
Rosie definitely enjoys it at daycare. At first I think she was a little shy and didn't really know what to do. Now she looks forward to going, jumps right out of the car to get in the fence! So good for her.
