Shout out to the management. Family or not, your staff should be trained to be professional with proper customer service skills.
Customer since the 80's and have loved this place! Once the original owners moved to Frederick the food and service has been VERY sketchy. We did not order here for 5 years because the food and service were horrible....Very rude service and food was inedible. Recently re-connected and were OK but there are still inconsistent food and service issues. FYI...caesar salad is Always made with Romaine lettuce but theirs is not. I feel sorry for the original owners who have the name of Starvin Marvin associated with a very inferior store in Gaithersburg. In the early days as soon as I would call they would recognize my voice and say "Hey Leatherfern Terrace" and my delivery was fast, accurate and delicious! I guess nothing lasts forever but it makes me sad . Please consider removing your name from the business in Gaithersburg.
When you walk in you will not be impressed. This is clearly a divey, hole in the wall, but don't let that stop you. The staff is always friendly and courteous. Don't go to Starvin Marvin's for the decor, go for the food. If you try Starvin Marvin's once, you will never eat at Subway again.
The person who answered and took my order named Ruksar (not sure if the spelling was right) was extremely rude that I ended up cancelling my order. I called back to confirm that it's been cancelled and raised the issue about the worse customer service given and it's sad to hear that I wasn't the first person to brought this up as the rude staff that answered me has been getting complaints but nothing has been done to correct his customer service skills.

I've been coming here for over 2 years now. Their Gyros are the best in Gaithersburg. Fries are awesome too. All their subs are excellent and I've tried at least a dozen. There are a few tables if you care to eat in, but they are primarily a take-out/delivery joint.
I hesitated doing this review but when I heard how bad your said employee was, I had a change of heart.
All in all I really enjoyed the food. The 3.00 delivery charge is a bit much in my opinion, but I know some places use that charge to offset the costs of online ordering and other conveniences that customers use.
I ordered food. And when my food arrived it was not my order I sent it back and when the driver returned he returned with the food he left at another residential home my sandwich was unwrapped and the food was very cold. I tried calling to resolve the matter no answer I called back the next day to resolve the issue the gentlemen was very rude tried to act as if he didn't know but then he said I was here.... I am going to contact the health department due to the fact that this establishment sent me opened food that another customer could have tampered with.. this is terrible customer service. I will be contacting the owner on monday.. and disputing the charge on my credit card.

Ordered for delivery for lunch through Grubhub. Got something simple, a bacon cheeseburger with fried egg, an order of fries, and a sprite. The burger was delicious and wholesome, the fries were crinkle cut, but crispy and seasoned well, I smelled a little Old Bay which was a winner. It showed up 15 minutes earlier than quoted, and the driver was kind and quick. I had put a special note in with the fries to give me a side of mayo or mayo packets for my fries (I'm one of those weirdos that doesn't like ketchup with my fries), and to be honest most places just ignore the special instructions, but to my surprise they included a little ramekin of mayo and plenty of napkins.
Now I'm sitting here, full and happy, finishing out my day at work and looking forward to the weekend. I will definitely be ordering again in the future.
