I’ve stayed here multiple times. I like the staff and the location, but the Internet is absolutely awful. Forget trying to stream Netflix on the weekend. It’s not going to happen. Forget even trying to make a phone call during the day when no one is here. This hotel has cut corners on Internet service and it’s guests are paying for it. If they don’t do something about this, we may have to look for an alternative in the area. Absolutely unacceptable. Nice clean hotel right in the heart of Washingtonian Center. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and a movie theater. Parking is across the street in the shared garage. Sometimes in the evenings it can be hard to find a space. Also within walking distance to a wine store and a target to pick up any essentials you might need.
Very clean room. Service at front desk was quick and respectful. Overall an excellent stay.
Service was amazing. Took my parents there and they loved it. Definitely a come back to place.
The hotel is in a pretty good location. Rooms are clean and the breakfast was great. I had a small refrigerator. I did not have time to check out the fitness center. Normally I would have given 4 stars but even though I had both the do not disturb AND the do not clean room hangers on the door, someone went in my room when I was not there. It looks like they picked up the bathroom but that was it. My towel, floor mat, and the shower was picked up.
I didn't go to stay at the marriott. However it was extremely clean like usual. Pleasant atmosphere. Very nice staff, helpful and polite. Most definitely my favorite chain of hotels.
