So I went to the lumber department at the store and I swear, I had to go through like 4 people to just to find SOMEONE who knew where the particle board was because everyone kept telling me to go through different aisles where it was NOWHERE to be found.
Then when I asked to have the wood cut, it took roughly 20 minutes for a worker to come by to cut it for me. Like... what?
Very quick service today.My cashier was named Sean and he announced loudly that his register was open and i got there first.He was polite and asked if i wanted to sign up for a Home Depot card.I know Home Depot like the back of my hand.I stop in there about twice a week.Usually at another location though.
It's rare to find any helpful or knowledge staff at this location, I'd rather make the drive to the store in Frederick. Tried online ordering at this location, they told me they didn't carry the brand any longer, even though the website said 68 in stock. I ended up having to go get it myself and go through line anyways so what was the point.
Absolute garbage. This Lowes will never see my money ever again. I tried calling the lumber department, to ask about some particle board, and the guy who answered the phone was not only inarticulate but had the nerve to hang up the phone on me just because he did not want to answer the questions that I had. I called again and as soon as he hear my voice he hung up again! Absolute incompetence!
In short, the people that work here are incompetent, rude, unprofessional, and overall just unintelligent. But I guess that explains why they work at trash heap like this place in the first place. Don't waste your time here, save yourself the trouble, and go to home depot.
Never use them for wood floors. They lost my wood flooring. After they found it they missed the delivery date twice. I still don't have the wood floor. Best part is today the installer from Lowe's calls me to say he is on the way to install the floor. I tell him the wood floor was not delivered. He says he will tell his supervisor. No one ever followed up. Pay a few hundred more and go to neighborhood floor store and save a ton of frustration.
I will never shop at a Lowes again! Terrible customer service! I bought what I thought was a new paint sprayer only to take it out of the box to find it covered in paint and still with wet paint in the nozzle. I was placed on hold for 15 minutes when I called to see what the manager was able to do so I hung up and drove the 44 minutes to the store. The manager Bob looked at the sprayer and stated that “It looked like it could have been used”! No s**t! Of course the item was replaced but not even an apology was offered until I stated that the resolution was not equal to the time wasted. I was then harassed by an associated because I did not register my active duty military id online per a policy change. Home Depot doesn’t have a ridiculous policy like that and has much better customer service! Adios Lowes! You will never get my business again!
