The Old Town Gaithersburg Train Station and Museum are a great local treasure. The sandwich shop is excellent. The museum is fun for kids and history buffs alike.
Great place to go if you want to watch freight trains pass. Don't commute from this station though. It is much quicker just to go to shady grove station.
Marc over Metro... Cleaner and more reliable at this point.
