Loved this place! First time at the restaurant – had a gift card to use. The staff is very friendly, customer focused, and made the experience enjoyable! At first, I thought this place was going to be a "NO" as I only like fresh/raw jalapeno peppers and the menu stated pickled jalapeno peppers. The waitress assured us there were fresh peppers. We started off with the guacamole and it was good, note the tomatoes are green so it looks like there are no tomatoes. I like spicy food so I added fresh jalapenos for an extra cost, there were more peppers than guacamole and the peppers were thick slices not diced. Additional appetizers, we had the salsa (mild) and chips and the jerk chicken (spicy) skewers, which were wonderful. You get three skewers with three nuggets of chicken, approximately ½ a chicken breast for three skewers, the flavor was delicious. For dinner, I had the braised beef (spicy) taco, note: jalapenos were pickled not raw/fresh. The waitress didn't notice so I just picked them off. The beef had a great flavor and was delicious. The person I was with had the roasted pork al pastor and he loved it, a little messy to eat. The pork tacos (not spicy) had strips of yellow/red sweet peppers. I ordered another salsa to put on our tacos and the waitress reminded me that it will cost, which I knew since we order the first from the menu. Overall nice evening out with great food with amazing taste.
Good service, loud atmosphere, food could be better for the price
Overall, decent experience, decent food - almost perfect.
Excellent food, but a bit pricey for portions served which are a bit on the small side, particularly the guacamole appetizer. Luckily the flavorful dishes make up for what falls short in portion size.
My server was absolutely amazing. I hope he doesn't mind that I share his name. If everyone had the etiquette and polite personality Amir has we would Always be satisfied with our choice in restaurants. The was to my sister and I liking. BTW Amir's smile makes you feel welcomed. Thanks for such good service even to the chef and staff.
The Cuban espresso was just, meh. It really didn't standout much. The sweet potato donuts were good.
Excellent food, if not a bit pricey for the cost of their tacos. I strongly recommend their pineapple caipirinhas! The manager gets a little enthusiastic with evening dim lighting ("mood lighting"). The brunch menu is also superb!
The last time I was in, the whole restaurant tables smelled of bleach. I'd recommend considering an alternative cleaning product as to not interfere with the enjoyment of the food and its aroma.
