This church was built on the love of Christ. My husband and I have been coming since they opened the doors on 10.16.16 with welcome arms. There is wise leadership in place and a true compassion for people brightly burning within the walls of Highlight that spreads into the week. The teachings are both biblical and informative. We have a call-to-action Pastor. The women's mininstry is surely Flourishing starting from the heart of the leader, Pastor's wife, who lives to help our faith roots grow deep and encourage us in Christ. To not just believe, but walk in our faith. Light groups have been our community builder throughout the week and been an essential piece to connecting people past just Sundays. There is also a kids section that focuses on raising up the next generation of leaders. I periodically peep in to see them praying before the room fills up. Parents, your kiddos are in good hands!! Worship is layered with incredible vocals, instrument, and praise - you can feel His presence! And, last but certainly not least HL has some excellent volunteers that serve week in and week out. Between the selfless sacrifice of time and the great leadership lessons from the Volunteer Director you can serve with a ridiculous sense of purpose and grow as a leader in the process! Every week I get to serve with an amazing group of people, serving the amazing people of this city! The message is always relevant and practical, and the worship is amazing! Such a wonderful atmosphere full of wonderful people!
